That is why the Occitanie Region has put in place an exceptional scheme to support regional companies in their ecological transformation process. This scheme, called the «Pass Transformation Écologique», offers substantial financial aid to help companies implement eco-responsible and innovative projects.

Conditions of allocation: who can benefit from it?

This program is aimed at companies that are registered and have a first business plan for at least 12 months, with at least one employee and fewer than 20 employees. Industrial companies, business-to-business (BtoB) services, artisans, the agro-food sector, and tourism companies (excluding self-employed individuals) in the sectors of accommodation, catering, leisure activities, and reception services are eligible. Associations can also benefit from this support if they have a Enterprise Insertion (EI) or Enterprise Adaptable (EA) accreditation, or if at least 50% of their revenue comes from the sale of goods or services.

Eligible projects: what types of work can be funded as part of digitalization?

Eligible companies must undertake improvement initiatives in the following areas:

• Acquisition of a global management system: ERP (software for managing all the operational processes of a company), customer management system-reservations-orders
• Acquisition of a global GPAO system (computer-aided production management system)
• Cybersecurity system: backup system, firewall, router

Eligible expenses include investments in new and/or used equipment, with a minimum unit amount of each expense of 1000 € HT. Projects must be part of an investment program of a maximum of 12 months.

Particularities: Ineligible companies

Companies whose primary business activities involve financial services, professional services, banks, insurance, personal services, retail (BtoC), cooperative use of agricultural equipment (CUMA), agricultural holdings, and those that are not eligible under the current Minimis regulation are excluded.

The tourism sector excludes:

• the hotels and outdoor accommodation not classified or rated 1 star at the time of filing the application
• hotels belonging to integrated and franchised chains
• residential leisure parks, tourist residences
• the tourist accommodation and guest rooms.
• fast food restaurants, cafeterias, self-service restaurants and restaurants with more than 100 seats, non-traditional restaurants; non-branded restaurants, or those without distinction in specialized guides or certification
• restaurants located in communes with more than 3,000 inhabitants
• Leisure activities are excluded: indoor activities, gambling and money games, bowling and any activity for which the tourist clientele (outside the department) is the main target audience. < 80%

How to benefit from the aid?

Interested companies can submit their funding application online on the online platform Mes aides en ligne via the Hub Entreprendre Occitanie. It is essential that the application be submitted before the start of work. To prepare the application dossier, companies must provide various documents, including a forecast budget, a balance sheet and a profit and loss statement for the last financial year closed, a detailed description of the works with an estimated cost, and other specific supporting documents specific to each type of project.

What amount of aid is available?

The aid takes the form of an investment grant covering 50% of the eligible expenses, capped at €10,000. Companies can only benefit from one Ecological Transformation Pass every 3 years.

Impact score: measure your ecological commitment

Since April 2023, companies seeking regional support must perform a self-diagnosis of their impact measures called the «Impact Score». This free digital tool assesses the environmental impact of companies, ensuring transparent monitoring of their ecological approach.

Possible combination with the eco-cheque artisan

The Ecological Transformation Pass can be combined with the artisan eco-cheque under certain conditions. The eligible expenses must be different, and the aid granted under the eco-cheque will be included in the calculation of the maximum amount granted based on the Pass.
